Early Life and Background

Abby Grace Champion was born on February 28, 1997, in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, a suburb of Birmingham. She is the daughter of Laura and Greg Champion and has three siblings, including her older sister Baskin, who is also a model. Abby attended Vestavia Hills High School, where she was a cheerleader. Initially planning to attend Auburn University, her career path changed when she was scouted by a Next Management agent while attending her sister's pageant in the Bahamas. 

Modeling Career

Abby Champion's modeling career began in earnest in 2014 after signing with Next Management. She made her runway debut at Bottega Veneta's Spring/Summer 2018 fashion show. Her career quickly escalated, leading to appearances in campaigns and runway shows for prestigious brands such as Prada, Ralph Lauren, Chanel, Givenchy, Balmain, Elie Saab, Dolce & Gabbana, and Miu Miu.

Champion has graced the covers of several international editions of Vogue, including Vogue Japan, Vogue Hong Kong, and Vogue Italia. In May 2024, she appeared solo on the cover of Vogue Adria. Her work has also been featured in W Magazine and Russh. ​

In December 2024, Models.com recognized her achievements by adding her to their 'Money List,' highlighting her success in securing top-tier commercial clients and long-term endorsement deals. ​

Personal Life

Since 2015, Abby Champion has been in a relationship with actor Patrick Schwarzenegger. The couple announced their engagement in December 2023 after eight years of dating. They plan to marry in the summer of 2025, having postponed their wedding due to Schwarzenegger's filming schedule for "The White Lotus." ​

Champion is known for her supportive nature, often accompanying Schwarzenegger to family events and career milestones. Despite her public presence, she maintains a relatively low profile on social media, using platforms primarily for professional purposes.
